Denise Thomas

Denise “Lanie” Elaine Thomas of Circleville, came into this world July 25, 1950, a bundle of joy to John and Betty (Redman) Thomas in Columbus. Lanie went to her Heavenly home surrounded by family on October 8, 2011 to once again join her parents, grandparents and many aunts and uncles who preceded her when the Lord called. Lanie love to fish, was an avid Western Movie fan and spending time with her great nieces and nephews getting right down on the floor to play. She will be sadly missed by those left behind, brother, Rev. James J. (Shirley) Thomas; sisters, Vicki (Jack) Ragland and Andrea Crabtree; nephew Johnny “Jose”, nieces, Tonya, Jodi, Robin and Rhonda; many great nieces and nephews, special cousin, Peggy (Dave) Ragland, stepfather, Hank Motley and a host of other family and friends. A special thank you to the doctors and fantastic nurses of Berger Hospital and Riverside Methodist Hospital. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday October 12, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Rev. James Lewis and Pastor Tim McGinnis giving the Word of God. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the time of service on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
