Donald Adams

Donald E. Adams, 77, of Circleville, died July 13, 2011 at Mt. Carmel West hospital. He was born December 27, 1933 in Pickaway County, the son of Homer and Highly Jane Adams. He graduated 1952 from Pickaway Twp. High School, and is a U.S. Army veteran. He was a former Circleville City Police officer, worked at PPG, Wenham Trucking, retired from Lenox Trucking. Member of Circleville Church of Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alma Jean Long Adams; infant grandson, Michael Skinner and brothers, Homer, Russell and Carl Adams. He is survived by his children, Karen (Paul) Knisley, Don (Bonnie) Adams, Kathy (Scott) Skinner and Susan (Dane) Patterson; grandchildren, Beth (Ryan) Maurer, Amy Adams, Ryan Skinner, Sarah Hanley and Rachel Hanley; great grandchildren, Hayley, Brooke, and Gabriel Maurer; sisters, Irene Young, and Shirley (Ted) Raymond; brother, Roy Adams. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday July 18, 2011 at Church of Nazarene with Pastor Wendell Brown officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Special thank you to MCICU staff and doctors of Mt. Carmel West.
