Donald Black

Donald “Don” E. Black, 73, of Laurelville, passed away on Monday July 8, 2013 at Berger Hospital, and was a former resident of Logan Elm Health Care. He was born on August 14, 1939 in Hocking County, the son of Forrest and Hattie (Vanfossen) Black. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jimmy and Jerry Black. He is survived by brother, Jack Black of Circleville; several nieces and nephews. Don loved playing bingo, going out to lunch and singing with the visiting church groups for Sunday Services while at Logan Elm. He loved watching sports and was a big fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him and loved him. Graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 11, 2013 at Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville.
