Donald Gatwood

Donald E. Gatwood, 87, of Circleville passed away on January 5, 2017. He was born on July 18, 1929 in Fairfield County to Frank and Victoria (Hardesty) Gatwood. Donald served in the Korean Conflict-520th QuarterMaster Petroleum Supply Company, a member of the Roundtown Roamers Campers Club and retired from Columbus Southern Electric Company. He and his wife spent the winters in Florida for 20 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by son; Jeffrey, brother; John (Evelyn) Gatwood and by sisters; Bernice (Ernest) Pennington, Dorothy Pennington and Carol (John) Kibler. Donald is survived by his wife; Jeannie (Hinton) Gatwood whom he married June 23, 1956, children; Dona Jean, Keith (Teri), Don (Heidi), grandchildren: Gena, Devin, Hilary, Britney, Dustin, Austin, Elizabeth, Hope Anna, great grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Breanna, Lance, Kinlee, Ryan and Melody, brother; Joe (Therese) Gatwood and by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home Circleville with Pastor John Romer officiating with burial to follow in Floral Hills Cemetery.
