Donald Lee Mcnichols

Donald Lee McNichols, 80, of Amanda passed away on November 4, 2024.  He was born on December 13, 1943 in Hocking County to Gilfred & Glenna (Routte) McNichols. He worked at South Central Power Co for 45 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Wanda “Jean” Smith and Linda Trevorah and son Kim Lee McNichols.  He was a loving husband, dad and grandpa who loved spending time with family, being outdoors and mushroom hunting.  He is survived by wife Rosella (Stevens) McNichols to whom he married to for 61 years, sons Terry (Dawn) McNichols and Mark (Lori) McNichols.   Also surviving are grandchildren Jake, Ethan and Alex McNichols, sister Shirley Rossiter and very special cousin Mike McNichols.  Visitation services will be Saturday at the Wellman Funeral Home – Laurelville from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.  Graveside Service will be at 12:30 PM at Green Summit Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel Community Church or Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
