Donna Jean Dyke (Keaton), 77 was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was a sweet, cheerful and caring person that would do anything for anyone. Donna was battling Parkinson disease for 12 years. She fought a good fight, and is no longer suffering. Donna was born on February 3, 1946 to Charles and Marie (Smith) Keaton. Donna met the love of her life Darrell at A&W rootbeer stand and later married Darrell Dyke in 1963. The couple celebrated 60 years this July. She was the proud mother of two daughters, Deanna Johnston and Denisa Koby. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family going on picnics, hikes to the caves and tractor shows. She loved being outdoors mostly on weekends mowing at the camper, playing cards, board games and family vacations. Donna survived by the love of her life, Darrell Dyke; daughters Deanna and Dwayne Johnston, Denisa and Gary Koby; grandchildren Derick (Amanda), Dawnette (Chad Hamilton) and Drayah Johnston, Dustin (Courtney) and Dalton Koby; great grandchildren Dalani, Timothy, Drake, Dallon; sisters Gayla (Kim) Keaton, Brenda Francis; sister-in-law Joann Smith; a lot of friends and other family. She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Marie Keaton; her sister Pamela and Ray Cottrill; nephew Chip Cottrill; brother-in-law’s Bill Francis and Bill Smith; sister-in-law Ada Bailey, Beatrice Dyke along with special pets Mutt Lea and Cody. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hitler Ludwig Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11-1.
