Doris Reeser

Doris J. Reeser, 90, of Circleville passed away on August 29, 2016. She was born on May 16, 1926 in Circleville to Earnest and Hazel (Arledge) Weaver. Doris, affectionately known by nickname “Beaner” for bean picking skills during her teen years, was a 1944 graduate of Circleville High School and had worked at Rickenbacker Air Force Base during WWII and for over 40 years at Weaver’s Furniture Store. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Harold A. Reeser, sisters; Ruth Lutz, Betty Clifton, Patty Reid, Lynn White and Dolly Thompson and by brothers; Jim and Robert Weaver. Doris is survived by her sons; Glenn (Linda), Tony (Dawn) Reeser, grandchildren; Tara Reeser, Tracy (Matthew) Witter, Royce (Julie) Reeser, Abbey (Greg) Kimmel, great grandson; Oliver Kimmel and by brothers; Larry (Alice), Dick (Shirlene) Weaver and by sister; Janet Hayes. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Noon at Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville on Saturday from 10:00-12:00.
