Doris Young

Doris “Dottie” Young, 87, of Circleville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 31, 2016. Born February 6, 1928, she was the daughter of Rose Marie and John Franklin Knece. Dottie was a retired Sunday school teacher, a member of the choir at Circleville First Church, and a staunch supporter of Second Chance Ministries. Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 50 years; Donald A. Young Sr., son; Tommy Young, daughter; Deborah A. Young Purdue and brother, Donald L. Knece. She is survived by daughters; Donna J. Young and DyAnna “Dee” (John) Weaver both of Circleville, son; Donald (Mary) Young Jr. of Mountain City, TN., sister; Barbara Sue Knece, brother; Paul R. (Gloria) Knece both of Circleville, nine grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter and by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Noon at Circleville First Church of Christ in Christian Union, 436 East Ohio Street, Circleville with burial to follow in Hitler Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at noon. Wellman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
