Dorothy Bowers, 89, of Texas (previously of Circleville) passed away on February 29, 2024. She was born on March 30,1934 in Baltimore, Ohio to Frank and Lola (White) Lutz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Bowers Jr., brothers - Roy and Charles Lutz, sisters -Catherine (Paul) Ledgett, Phyllis (Don) Morris, Mary (Bob) Ledgett, and Mildred (Bob) Whaley. Dorothy is survived by her son Larry (Tammy) Bowers, grandson Jarrod (Megan) and great-granddaughter Finnley Bowers, step-daughter Diane (Jim) Sarver, step-grandchildren - Angel Sarver, Amy (Dustin) Meyer and son Connor, step-son Stephen (Lora) Bowers, step-grandchildren - Karen (Perry) - sons; Devon, Drew and daughter Kady Bowers, Eddie (Tanna) - sons; Beau and Mason Bowers, Amanda (Rigo) - sons; Reece, Cruz and daughter Amaya Quintanilla, Dustin Bowers. Dorothy is also survived by her sisters - Marjorie (Mike) Farras, Betty Casto, Alice Rose Payne, and much extended family including those in Texas that have lovingly adopted her. Visitation will be held at the Wellman’s Funeral Home in Circleville on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Circleville with burial to follow in Heavenly Hills Cemetery.
