Dorothy Carle

Dorothy M. Carle 88, of Circleville, died January 31, 2013 at Berger Hospital. She was born December 29, 1924 in Pickaway County the daughter of Harold and Nellie (Eitel) Bumgarner. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, past president of Altar Rosary Society, Pickaway County Extension Homemakers Club, NFO, Williamsport Euchre Club and volunteer for Pickaway County Diabetes Association. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence “Sam” Carle; and brother, Richard Bumgarner. She is survived by her children, David (Clarice) Carle of West Jefferson, Martha (Randy) McCoy of Williamsport, Donna Findley of Cincinnati, Thomas (Laureen) Carle of Advance, NC, Janet Matthews of Columbus, Michael (Mary) Carle of Circleville, James (Vera) Carle of Circleville, Rosemary Kirk of Galloway, Patrick Carle of Gurnee, IL and Donald Carle of DeSoto, MO; brother Carl (Mary) Bumgarner of Ashville and sister-in-law, Wilda Bumgarner of Circleville; 24 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday February 4, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ted Machnik. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Rosary will be recited @ 5 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church Interior Restoration, 134 W.
