Dorothy Creager

Dorothy W. Creager, 97, of Amanda, died May 2, 2013 at Brown Memorial. She was born July 3, 1915 in Pickaway County, the daughter of Joseph and Forest (Fausnaugh) Goodman. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Stoutsville Senior Citizens and had worked at Cromans Hatchery. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edgar Creager; brother, Donald Goodman; brother-in-law, Curtis Bower and nephew, Bill Blair. She is survived by her sister, Marjorie Bower; nephew, Dale (JoAnn) Bower; niece, Janet Blair and great niece, Krista Bower. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 4, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor John Michels officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. A special thanks to all of the personnel at Brown Memorial, where she lived the last ten years, Chaplain Jim Ferrell, Pastor John Michels, and friends, Helen Burns and Lois Melvin.
