Dorothy E. Hardman, 80, of Circleville, died January 22, 2011 at OSU Hospital. She was born October 7, 1930 in Hocking County, the daughter of Ollie and Gertrude (McNichols) Thurston. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Hardman; children, Kenneth Eugene, Bruce Halston and Wanda Kay and brothers, Clarence, Robert, Jack, Donald, David, James and Charles. She is survived by her children, Kathy (Homer) Smoot of Chillicothe, Jeff (Stacy) Hardman of Williamsport and Gregory (Toni) Hardman of Chillicothe; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brother, Dale (Rose)Thurston of Creola; sisters, Mary Unger of Tarlton and Edna Tatman of Laurelville and very special friend, Connie Fullen of Ashville. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday January 27, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
