Dorothy Painter

Dorothy V. Painter, 78, of Circleville, went to be with the Lord, January 4, 2011 at Pickaway Manor. She was born September 20, 1932 in Altoona, PA, the daughter of John and Vada (Stump) Aulthouse. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Aulthouse. She is survived by her husband, Gordon Painter; children, Barry L. Painter of Columbus and Deborah S. Shoemaker of Circleville; sister, Annabelle Davis of Altoona, PA; sister-in-law, Betty Aulthouse of PA; brother-in-law, Gene Painter of Circleville; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Alma and Michael. No visitation at the family’s request. Cremation has taken place. Family requests memorial contributions be made to Berger Hospice in Dorothy’s name. Arrangements were completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
