Douglas Mcclelland

Douglas McClelland, 75, of Marysville passed away on June 30, 2023.  He was born on August 29, 1947 in Morgantown, WV to Ralph and Annabel (Elliott) McClelland.  He was a member of Logan Elm Lodge #624 F&AM and enjoyed fishing, bowling, watching college football and golf. He was an avid fisherman with his best friend Bill.  He also loved tennis in his younger years in high school and college years (University of Charleston).  He was also an avid dirt late model track goer.  Douglas retired from RCA and as a construction worker and also held several positions in the glass industry.   In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Douglas E. McClelland, Jr.  Douglas is survived by his wife Tamie (Shoemaker) McClelland, children CR (Tracy) McClelland, Natasha (Matt) Stoneburner; grandchildren Abigail, Shannon, Storey, Kaden, Matthew and Kylie; great grandchildren Rylynn, Hayden and Stella; sister Ann Mungovan.  He was also survived by his mother-in-law Sharon (Emerson) Young and  loved by his brothers-in-law Jack (Stacy), Brian (Lisa) and Mike (Casey) Shoemaker and sister in law Tana (Jack) Johnston along with several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews as well as many, many friends.  A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5-6:30 p.m. with a Masonic service at 6:30 p.m.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
