Doyle Manbevers, Jr

Doyle Burt Manbevers, Jr. 75, of Stoutsville, died November 17, 2012 at Circleville Care & Rehab. He was born June 18, 1937 in Circleville, the son of the late Doyle B. and Della (Russell) Manbevers, Sr. He was a member of Crossroads Church, Pickaway Senior Center and RCA Electrical Union 2331 and retired from RCA in 1999. He was preceded in death by eight siblings, brothers, Harold, Gene, twins, Melvin and Marvin and sisters, Esther Stout, Dorothy Bozman and Pauline “Polly” Stapleton; father-in-law, James Sawyer. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Joy (Fowler) Manbevers; stepsons, Jonathan A. (Erika) Fowler and David (Cynthia) Fowler; grandchildren, Andrea and Eric (Gabby) of Leesburg, VA, Matthew, Ashtian, Tayler and Hannah all of Circleville; great grandson, Liam; mother-in-law, Betty Sawyer, sister-in-law, Debbie Sawyer and brother and sister-in law, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sawyer all of Circleville; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Lyle West of Ashville, Stephen and Ginny Good of Circleville, Judi Smith of Clarksburg, Jack Seitz (Nancy) and family of Stoutsville. Doyle love to sing, tell a good joke and play euchre, watch old movies, fish in Canada and attend the Pumpkin Show. Military graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday November 23, 2012 at Forest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Pickaway Senior Center, Crossroads Church and Activity Center for Circleville Care and Rehab. Arrangements were completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
