Earl R. Nelson, 71, of Circleville died April 18, 2015 at his residence. Earl was born on February 23, 1944 in Lawrence County to Hobert and Lillian (Butler) Nelson. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Delbert, John, Junior, Howard and Clarence, sister; Juanita Burns. Earl is survived by his wife; Mary (Vanover) Nelson, daughters; Rhonda Nelson and Martha (Scott) Pontius, grandchildren; Tiffany and Tyler Pontius and Emily Morris, sister; Mary (Mark) Bland of Lakeview, Ohio, sister-in-law; Peg Nelson, brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Jimmy and Eileen Vanover, special friends; Mick and Joyce Dumm, Angie Arledge, Betty Stevens and Charlie and Carol Hammond, many special nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with burial to in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
