Earl “Ronnie” Hart, 71, of South Bloomingville passed away on April 26, 2024. He was born on September 2, 1952 in Hocking County to Francis and Jennie (Dillie) Hart. He was an Army Veteran. He retired from Dale Riddle Forest Products and was member of Mt. Carmel Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Ted, sister Grace and father and mother in law Don and Mary Thomas; Ronnie is survived by his wife Sharon (Thomas) Hart; daughter Amy Hart (Brandon Morrison); grandchildren Madison and Kaylyn Hitchcock and by siblings Connie (Robert) Hall, Nancy (Jim) Winnett, Ellis Hart (Terry Cremeans) and Carolyn and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday May 2, 2024 from 3-7 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with funeral service to follow at 7 pm. Graveside service will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Green Summit Cemetery. Ronnie was a man of few words but many selfless, generous and religious actions. A man who left for the Army at the ripe age of 18, scared to take on the world, but he did it. A man who would step in and help without being asked. A man who could fix everything, but wouldn’t just work on anything without the right tools. Which led to a man with lots of tools and knowledge, because he always figured it out. A man who would much rather be fishing than deal with the reality of life, but also the man who dealt with the reality of life with a smile on his face and a warm heart full of love. Because as he always said “life goes on.” The kind of man who always had a lesson, whether you needed it or wanted it, he was teaching the lesson. A man who just wanted to start his simple day off with a cup of coffee at a small town restaurant with a smile on his face, to end the day thru the hills looking at the beauty of God around him. Memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home in Ronnies name. Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
