Edith Krakomberger

Edith M. Krakomberger, 94, of Circleville, went to be with her Lord, November 22, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. She was born August 11, 1918 in Cleveland, the daughter of Ernest and Ethel Hartinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph Krakomberger, brothers, Ernest (Flora), Austin (Betty), Bob (Harriet), sisters Betty (Leonard) Santos, Margaret Hartinger, Barbara (Victor) Jones, two baby sisters Vera and Mary and nieces and nephews. She is survived by her son Robert “Pete” (Pat) Hartinger, of Circleville, daughters Kathy Hungerman of N. Ridgeville, OH and Joanne (Mike) Heck of Perryton, TX, brother Richard Hartinger of Circleville, grandchildren, Robin (Tim) Adams, Troy Hartinger, Austin (Janell), Cody and Tyler Heck, Michael Krakomberger, Nickolas and Jared Hungerman, great grandchildren Kalyn and Abbey Adams and Tylar and Tanner Hartinger. Edith lived her life to the fullest and never complained. She deeply loved her family and her beloved Cleveland Indians. In recent years she enjoyed watching the Columbus Clippers, farm team of the Indians. The care Edith received from Berger Hospice was outstanding and much appreciated. Special thanks to Glenna, Tammy, Kim and all the other caregivers. Visitation will be held Monday 4-7 p.m. at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville and 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Wednesday at Corrigan Funeral Home, 14768 Lorain Ave., Cleveland, OH 44111. Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church 14040 Puritis Ave., Cleveland, OH 44135. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland.
