Edward Blum

Edward H. Blum, 83, of Laurelville, died October 14, 2011 at his residence. He was born December 23, 1927 in Circleville, the son of Edward and Stella (Knight) Blum. He was retired from E.I. DuPont with 32 years of service, trained and raced standardbred horses and farmed. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara (VanBuskirk) Blum and grandchildren, Sara, Mason and Wade. He is survived by his children, Steve (Penny) Blum of Whisler, Wesley (Sylvia) Blum of Laurelville, Deborah Blum of Laurelville, Tom (Marla) Blum of Zanesville and John (Judy) Blum of Ashville; grandchildren, Ami Carmon, Sommer Barham, Joel, Grant, Kaycee, Cody and Colton Blum, Janice Emerson, Joshua and Jason Conrad; 8 great grandchildren, Hanna and Lauren Carmon, Daniel and Jonathan Barham, Tristan and Braxton Emerson and Joshua Bryan and Lenyx Conrad; sister, Ruth Breezius of WI; nieces, Kathy and Cherry and special friends, Katie & Kristi Hupp and Jim and Elizabeth Tuccinardi. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday October 17, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Green Summit Cemetery.
