Effie Fletcher

Effie E. Fletcher, 88, of Circleville, died June 28, 2011 at Heartland of Chillicothe Nursing Home. She was born May 27, 1923 in Zanesville, the daughter of Charles and Myrtle (Smith) Hill, Sr. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church. On June 7, 1946 she married Charles W. Fletcher. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Fletcher; stepson, Larry Turner; 6 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by her children, Howard E. (Eva) Fletcher of Circleville, Linda (Richard) Williams of Bainbridge and Thomas (Elaine) Fletcher of Ashville; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Jones of Chillicothe; brother, Paul (Charlotte) Hill of Circleville; daughter-in-law, Judy Turner of Groveport; sisters-in-law, Erma (Rev. James) Lewis and Carol (Bob) Thompson; brothers-in-law, Herbie (Mary) Weaver and Rufus Fletcher and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 2, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Rev. James Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Baptist Church.
