Effie Lauerman

Biography Effie Eunice (Thornton) Lauerman, 92, of Circleville, passed away Nov. 20, 2011 at her home with her loving family at her bedside. She was born Apr. 3, 1919 in Ross County, the daughter of Wilbur and Ada (Sneff) Thornton. On June 22, 1940 she married David “Duke” Lauerman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, son, David, seven sisters, three brothers and three sons-in-law. Eunice is survived by four daughters; Marjory Anderson of Circleville, Geneva Pummill of Chillicothe, Sharon (Milton) Parsons of Arizona and Saundra (Richard) Bostwick of Circleville, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, sisters, Grace Whitten of Williamsport and Margaret Breen of Gahanna and a special niece, Patricia Jackson of Kingston. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 23, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Springbank Cemetery. Friends may call 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
