Eileen Canfield

Eileen May Canfield age 87 on Saturday, July 22, 2017 passed into her future life after an extended illness. She leaves behind her husband of 67 years, Harry, daughters Carol Gravenstein (Steve) of Topeka Kansas, Sharon Holliday (Tom) of Alexandria VA. and Beth Rose (Steven) of Jacksonville, FL. She also cherished 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. In addition to her family and church, Eileen’s passion was her music as a talented pianist. Her grand piano was her prized possession. She produced a CD of her playing her favorite hymns that has had wide circulation over the last 15 years. For a number of years, she entertained patients at Logan Elm Healthcare with her piano music. This is one example of her giving spirit. A service celebrating her well-lived life will be at The Heritage Church of the Nazarene at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27, 2017. Cremation is planned, and burial will take place at a later date in the family plot in Michigan.
