Eldon Karshner

Eldon Karshner 76, of Laurelville, died on Saturday, February 1, 2014. He was born on October 17, 1937 in Hocking County to Merrill and Anna (Hatmaker) Karshner. He was a truck driver for Elsea’s and retired from Lease Way Trucking Company. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law Priscilla Jones. Eldon is survived by his wife, Rose (Dilley) Karshner, his children, Mike (Jackie) Karshner, Ronnie Karshner, Paula Jones, Dennis Jones, Scott (Dolly) Jones, Jamie (David) Polly, 11 grandchildren, Brandy, Angie, Heath, Melissa, Stephanie, Ashley, Dusty, Brandon, Destiny, Jaleigh and Eryn, 3 great grandchildren, Braylon, Xzander and Blake and by one brother, David (Bonnie) Karshner. Eldon was a loving husband, the best dad anyone could ask for, and the world’s best grandpa. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with Pastor James Vandagriff officiating. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday at the funeral home in Laurelville from 3-8 p.m.
