Eleanor Conrad, 82, of Ashville passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014 in Columbus. She was born on March 27, 1932 in Circleville to William and Myrtle (Smith) Hixson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gay B. Conrad, daughter, Donna Jean Shirkey, grandson, Harrison Gould Trimble and siblings; Clarence and Ray Hixson, Ruth Nungester and Mary Conley. Eleanor is survived by her children; Richard (Margarite) Haddox, Mary (Bill) Brown, Grandchildren; Brandon Haddox, Jefferson (Allison) Newman, Melissa (Lacey) Perigo, Richard (Jennifer) Myers, great grandchildren; Nick, Zack, Brittany, Logan, Olivia and C.J. and by great great grandchild; Bronx. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Ty Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from Noon until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
