Elizabeth Burris

Elizabeth J. Burris, 74, of Circleville, died March 15, 2011 at Berger Hospital. She was born January 3, 1937 in Chillicothe, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Lowe) Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sheila Dunn; brother, Harold “Red” Scott and sister, Mildred Tootle. She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Jordan of Clarksburg; grandchildren, Kevin Dunn, Stacie (Randy) Ward, James Robertson, Creston Gozy, Tasha (Josh) May and Rashael (Tyler) Ward; great grandchildren, Tayley, Kelsey, Aaron, Jaydee, James, Allie, Faith, Kane, Kirsten, MacKenzie and Shaela; sister-in-law, Pat Scott; several nieces and nephews and former husband, Jimmie Dunn. Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday March 19, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Chillicothe. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in Elizabeth’s name. The family request in honor of Elizabeth that anyone attending wear Ohio State Clothing.
