Ellen Arlene (Michael) Wilson

Arlene (Michael) Wilson, Laurelville.  Arlene crossed over February 24, 2021, after months of surgical complications.  Ellen Arlene was born in Ravenna, Ohio, April 15, 1933, the seventh of nine children, to Howard Joseph and Hazel Dora (Bradley) Michael.  The Michael family eventually made their home in Raymond, Ohio where Arlene graduated high school in 1951.  She and Robert L. Coder married and had six children.  During their marriage, Arlene was a homemaker and drove a school bus for North Union schools in Richwood, Ohio for over ten years.  After Arlene and Bob’s divorce, she moved to Florida for several years, living near her parents and sisters and their families.  Upon her return to Ohio, she reunited with a high school classmate, John (Jack) Wilson.  They married in 1993.  Together, they built their home and enjoyed many years there in Laurelville until their deaths.  Preceding Arlene’s passing, were her husband Jack; daughter Joni Arlene; grandsons, David Robinson, Bill Johnson and Luke Coder.  Arlie is survived by her brother Larry in Richwood; her children, Angie coder, Thomas (Tammy) Coder, Joyce Coder, Robert Coder Jr. and Christine (Phil) Combs.  Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and her four cats.  All who knew Arlene as Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt or Friend loved her well.  She will be missed and always remembered with love.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
