Elsie Whaley

Elsie Virginia (Smith) Whaley, 84 of Circleville, died May 23, 2012 at her daughter’s residence. She was born May 21, 1928 in Pickaway County the daughter of Earl and Laura (Wiseman) Smith. At one time she was Director of Volunteers at Berger Hosptial. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pearl “Bob” Whaley; grandson, Jonathan Michael Whaley; sisters, Eunice Sterling, Opal Huff, Louise Good, Bonnie Norquist and Goldie Arledge and brothers, Allen, Lloyd, Leland and Wayne Smith. She is survived by her children, Larry (Connie) Whaley, Charles (Denise) Whaley, Patrick Whaley, Steve (Mary Ann) Whaley and Vicki (Don) Stonerock; 18 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday May 26, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
