Emma Sabine

Emma M. “Bea” Sabine, 95, of Circleville, died October 29, 2009 at her residence. She was born February 7, 1914 in Pickaway County, the daughter of Silas and Jennie (Climer) Griffey. She was a member ob the Ohio St. Church of Christ in Christian Union. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert; sons, June and Donald; brothers, Earl, Herbert, Paul and Abner and sisters, Sarah Plaul, Ruth Giffin and Carolyn Griffey. She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Blankenship of Circleville; grandson, Donald Blankenship; great grandchildren, Kelsey Jo, Joey and Shia Blankenship; brothers, Carl Griffey of Circleville and sisters, Jennie Vance of AZ, Evelyn Cassidy and Barbara Smith both of Circleville. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday October 31, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastors Mike Holbrook and Jeff Blakeman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
