Eris Puckett

Eris Pauline “Peg” Garringer Puckett, 86, of Washington C.H. passed away Monday, March 19th at Mount Carmel Hospital, Columbus.
She was born on April 7, 1925 in Fayette County to Robert and Mina (Martin) Garringer. She was an active member of the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church and was a graduate of Washington High School.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Puckett, three brothers, Paul, James O. and Ben Garringer and by one sister, Betty Bullen.
Mrs. Puckett is survived by her son, Kenneth (Faye) Puckett of Waverly, step grandchildren, Doug, Dean, Dale and Phyllis, two sisters, Doris Gregory of Hillsboro and Patricia Nobles of Live Oaks, Florida, one brother, Cecil Garringer of Columbus and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Puckett will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wellman-Kinzer Funeral Home with burial to follow in Washington Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
