Eugene Leonard Schleich

Eugene Leonard Schleich, 90, of Circleville passed away on March 7, 2018.  He was born on May 1, 1927 in Pickaway County to Leonard and Ella (Hill) Schleich.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn M. (Hooks) Schleich, siblings George, Raymond, Frank, Dorothy and Edith.  Eugene was retired from the state of Ohio and a retired farmer, member of Heber Lodge #501 F & AM, 32nd Degree Mason, Heber Chapter 62 of Eastern Star, Shriners and Modern Woodman.  Eugene is survived by his sons David (Melanie), John, Eric (Kim), Dan (Jeannie) Schleich, daughter Brenda (Elbert) Caudill, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and by sister-in-laws Marjorie Sims, Ellen (Charles) Rittinger, Erma Schleich, and Ruthie James.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Carol Ann Davis and Dr. Doyne Wiggins officiating.  Burial will follow in Springlawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-4 p.m.  with Masonic service to be held at 4:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Heber Lodge #501 F & AM, Box 77, Williamsport, Ohio 43164.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
