Evelyn Cassidy

Evelyn L. Cassidy, 88, of Circleville, died March 24, 2011 at Berger Hospital. She was born July 22, 1922 in Circleville, the daughter of Silas and Jennie (Clymer) Griffey. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold E. Cassidy; daughters, Gloria McCool, Patricia Hall and Janice Cassidy; 3 grandchildren; brothers, Herbert, Paul, Abner and Earl Clarence Griffey; sisters, Sarah Plaul, Marvine Sabine, Margaret Giffin, Carolyn Giffin and Barb Smith. She is survived by sons, William Harold (Joyce), Charles (Lori), Bruce (Sue), Harvey (Brenda) Cassidy and Sheldy (Judy) McManus; 20 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Toddy Griffey and sister, Jennie Vance. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday March 28, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Rev. William Hill officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.
