Evelyn Polly

Evelyn Polly, 82, of Ashville died on Sunday, February 9, 2014. She was born on August 15, 1931 in Pickaway County to Shirley “Jake” and Florence (Owens) Dowden. She retired from Nationwide Insurance. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Maybell Godby, Doris Starkey, Louise Dowden and Leland “Bud” Dowden.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Paul Polly, her grandchildren, David and Paul Joseph Polly and Andy O’Dell and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Chaplain Jim Ferrel officiating with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Logan Elm Health Care.
