Everett “Brownie” Brown went peacefully to be with his Lord February 8, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Everett was born March 15, 1938 in Pickaway County, the son of the late Everett and Elsie (Rutter) Brown. He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Collett; first wife, Betty Brown; 1 infant son; 2 infant daughters and step daughter, Deborah Royce. He is survived by his loving wife, Sara Evans Brown, daughters, Vivian (John) Cupp and Brenda (Ron) Mcalister of Kentucky; 4 stepchildren, Dennie (Shelley) Evans, Jr. of Circleville, Pati (Skip) Kunkle of Dayton, Phillip (Crystal) Evans of Williamsport and Jason (Jodi) Evans of Circleville; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brothers, Howard (Ruth) Brown and John Brown; sisters, Stella Knece, Thelma Nutter and Martha Robinson and long time friend, George Scranton. He was a longtime employee of Litters and Jims Pay and Save, while running his own heating, plumbing and home improvement business for 35 years. Brownie was a patient, loving man who always had time for others and will be greatly missed by many. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday February 13, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Waverly. Family will receive friends from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice Care, 1170 N. Court St. Suite B, Circleville, OH 43113.
