F. Geneva Smith

F. Geneva “Gig” Smith, 86 of Laurelville, died October 17, 2013 at Riverside Hospital. She was born August 29, 1927 in Hocking County, the daughter of William and Martha Myrtle (Shaw) Justice. She was retired from General Electric. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Clarence Wm. Ebert and Paul Smith; sons, Max Lee Ebert and P.D. Smith; son-in-law, Gerry Poling; brothers, Junior and Joe Justice and sister, Frieda Shaw. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce Poling and Paula (Jim) Fetherolf; daughter-in-law, Kim Hart; 4 grandchildren, Scott Ebert, Jordan and Philip Smith and Torrye Fetherolf; great granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Ebert; sister, Bonnie Ebert and brother, Tom Justice. Funeral service will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday October 20, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. Saturday.
