Florence Peters

Florence L. Peters, 76, of Circleville, died August 23, 2012 at Berger Hospital. She was born January 21, 1936 in Pickaway County, the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Hettinger) Cline. She attended Circleville Nazarene Church. She was very active in school athletics and activities with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an excellent cook. She babysat many children through the years who called her “Granny”. She is survived by her children, Robert (Bobbin) Peters, Cindy (Ted) Miller, Becky (Tim) Tener and Roberta (Bill) Jentzen; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie (Brandon) Bivens, Emily Peters, Chris, Jen and Brooke Tener, Rusty (Sarah) and Jeremy Jentzen; 2 great grandchildren, Payton and Maddie Bivens; 5 sisters, Annabelle Ward, Edith Smith, Georgia Starkey, Margaret (Buck) Watson and Alice Rhodes and her dog, Toby Mac. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday August 27, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Rev. William Hill and Pastor Wendell Brown officiating. Burial will be in Reber Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
