Francis Russell

Francis L. Russell, 87, of Williamsport, died June 16, 2013 at his residence. He was born April 15, 1926 in Chillicothe, the son of Clarence and Martha (Kerns) Russell. He was an U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; children, Shirley “Billie Jo” Swackhammer and Andy Russell; step-children, Linda Bruns and Peggy Sue Hammond; siblings, Josie and Betty Shaw, George Russell, Elmira Britten and Ray Russell. He is survived by his wife, Meada (Sanders) Russell; children, Pam Ward, Roxanne Brayshaw, Randy and Mandy Russell; step-children, Victoria Fogle, Butch, Steve, Carl, Mark and Bobby Hammond, Diana Boyd and Amy Carroll; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Dolly Stultz, Peggy Litter and Barbara Helsel; brothers, Gordon, Dale and Don Russell; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held1:00 p.m. Thursday June 20, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Springlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
