Fusako Murta

Fusako Murta of Circleville formerly of Portsmouth died Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at her home.  She was born on January 3, 1944 in Kadena, Okinawa to Shinyu and Chie Tawata.  She married Fredrick Murta on December 11, 1970 in Naha City, Okinawa.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by step mother Haruko Tawata; brother Shipo Tawata; sister Akemi Tawata and son-in-law Ross Edward Deerman.  She is survived by her husband of 54 years Fredrick Murta; daughters Tina Deerman of Grove City and Amy Poole of Delaware; grandchildren C.J. and Kira of Grove City and Ethan, Samantha and Lyla of Delaware; brothers Masanoli Tawata, Masahiko Tawata and Shinsei Tawata; sisters Hatsue Teruyo and Keiko Tawata all of Okinawa and many nieces and nephews and many friends in the Okinawa Tomono Kai of Ohio Association.  Fusako liked shopping, gambling at the casino and spending time with her family and many friends.  Fusako’s family would like to give special thanks to Dr. John Bohlen and all the nurses and staff at Ohio Health Hospice for their exceptional care during her illness.  Also to all the staff at the Kobacker House in Columbus during her many stays there.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kobacker House
