Garry P. Poling, 65, of Circleville, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all lost his long, courageous battle with kidney disease on October 23, 2010. He was born October 14, 1945 in Hocking Co. the son of Theodore and Mildred (Peck) Poling. Garry was an Army Vietnam vet, member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 98 and IOOF. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bernard, Clyde and Lloyd and sister Mona Hettinger. Garry is survived by his wife Mary K. (Pritchard) Poling, daughter Robyn (Leroy) Jennings, grandchildren Adam, Kelcie (R.J. Shull) and Mackenna Jennings, he was also eagerly awaiting the birth of his first great grandson, sisters Violet Thompson, Donna Swackhammer, Amy Karr, Wanda Johnson and Janet Amerine, brothers Norman (Norma), Delbert (Arlene), Gerry (Joyce) and Jerald (Bobbie) Poling, brother-in-law Lloyd (Theresa) Frazier and special friend Harold Leonard. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday October 27, 2010 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery with military graveside honors. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Kidney Foundation. The family gives thanks to the staff of Berger Hospital and Pickaway Dialysis Center.
