Gary Hempker

Gary L. Hempker, 63, of Circleville, died April 16, 2012 at Berger Hospital. He was born April 26, 1948 in Lima, OH the son of the late Robert and Eva (Lemaster) Hempker. Gary was an Air Force veteran of Vietnam War, was owner/operator of Tony’s Carpet and Vinyl and member of VFW #3331, He is survived by his wife Sue (Youngs) Hempker, children Shelly (Doug) DeVore of Mt. Vernon, Angie (Chris) Herndon of Cincinnati, Vinny Hempker of Mt. Vernon and Tony Hempker of Circleville, grandchildren Jaron Dean, Brittany Baxter, Kelsey Herndon and Emily Hempker, sister Peggy (Larry) Guysinger of Lima and brothers Bill Hempker of Indian Lake and John Hempker of Baltimore, OH. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 21, 2012 at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Ty Myers officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery with Amvets military honors. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Wellman F.H. in Gary’s name.
