Gene "Pete" Jordan, 64, of Circleville, died June 11, 2008 at Berger Hospital. He was born March 26, 1944 in Kenova, WV, the son of Richard and Naomi (Taylor) Jordan. He was an U.S. Army veteran, member of World Harvest Church where he was an active Deacon, graduated from Logan Elm High School in 1962, graduate of World Harvest Bible College and taught Jewish Manners and Customs throughout central Ohio and the Navajo reservation. In the 1980's Pete and Sandi were house parents for the Pickaway County Boys Home and Relief Parents for the Pickaway County Girls Home. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Jordan. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Larcher) Jordan; brothers, William (Valerie) Jordan of Washington Court House, David (Joyce) Jordan of NC and Lewis (Martha) Jordan of Kingston; sister-in-law, Pam Jordan of Findley and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday June 14, 2008 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor Rod Parsley and Elder Bill Canfield officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
