Geneva Andrews

Biography Geneva “Sissy” Johnson Andrews, 72, of Columbus, departed this life September 22, 2011. She was born March 9, 1939 in Circleville, the daughter of Donald and Geneva (Henry) Johnson. She was a longtime member of Pilgrim Baptist Church, treasurer for the Willing Workers and retired from the State of Ohio Columbus State Development Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Skippy, Porgie and Luther Johnson and sister, Carmen Horn. She is survived by her sister, Evelyn Johnson Coffman; children, Jodi (Arthur) Rivers, Marcey Andrews, Terry (Diane) Andrews, Gary (Aldean) Andrews and Tina Andrews; 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; special cousin, Hazel Marie; best friend, Carolyn Talford and a host of loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday September 27, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service. Devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother, Aunt, Sister, Cousin, and Friend. Sissy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
