Geneva Potts

Geneva Ruth (Satterfield) Potts, 78, of Circleville, died February 22, 2010 at her residence. She was born September 20, 1931 in Adams County, OH, the daughter of Thomas and Maude (Price) Satterfield. She was owner/operator of Ben Franklin Store on the Square in West Union. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Loren Satterfield and sister, Wilma Cohn. She is survived by her husband, Ross Potts; daughter, Connie Potts-Thompson of Vandalia and Pastor Lonnie (Kathy) Potts of Circleville; 5 grandchildren, Christie (Todd) Dixon of Vandalia, Alissa (Paul) Palmer of Corona, CA, Brittani (Tyler) Williams, Lonnie Ross Potts, II and Kalee Potts all of Circleville; half brother, Benard Thatcher of West Union and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday February 25, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday February 26, 2010 in West Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice.
