George Myers

George Myers, 83, of Circleville passed away on February 19, 2023.  He was born on November 5, 1939 in Pickaway County to Chester Benton and Vesta Viola (Pancake) Myers.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother David Myers.  He was a 1957 graduate of Williamsport High School, owned Myers Barber Shop for 12 years, attended St. Johns Church, was a member of BPOE 77 for 57 years, former Saltcreek Township Trustee and truck driver for Pickaway County Engineers and Circle Plastic.  George is survived by his wife Barbara (McNichols) Myers, children Becky Branch, Randy (Nataliya) Myers, Susan Martin, grandchildren Brian (Stephanie) Griffin, Joshua Adkins, Timberlee (Brock) Harris, Jeremy Holly, Anthony Myers, Casey (Tyler) Myers, Brianne (David)  Cortnik, Dalton Martin, Marissa Schwalbauch, Viktoryia Liashchynskaya, Marharyta Feshchanka, great grandchildren Joseph, Makayla, Savannah, Stella, Everleigh, Lydia, Cheyanne, Noah, sisters Shelvia “Tillie” (John) Neff, Evelyn (Jay) Kaiser, sister-in-law Sheila (Reeser) Myers and by several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Imler Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7.  The family wishes to thank Andrea, Frances and the other staff, his special caregivers at Promedica Hospice.   Memorial contributions are suggested to Gideons, PO Box 403, Circleville, Ohio 43113.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
