George Ramey

George A. Ramey, 85, of Circleville, died November 25, 2009 at his residence. He was born April 8, 1924 in Circleville, the son of Joseph and Dell (Shaffer) Ramey. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Evelyn Ramey; brothers, Bill and Harry; sisters, Laura, Nellie, Irene and Rose. He is survived by his wife, Doris (Hulse) Ramey; children, Sharon (Lee) Bresino of Sheridan, WY, Mike (Connie) Ramey of Buffalo, WY and Dan (Ginny) Ramey of Cody,WY; grandchildren, Matthew (Lisa) Ramey and Christy Jo (Chris) Ramey Miller; great grandchildren, Dakota, Jacob, Meghan and Jessica all of Buffalo,WY; step children, Edwin (Deborah) Boyer of Circleville and Sherry Downs of Stoutsville; step-grandchildren, Julie Finley of WY, Heather Boyer of Stoutsville, Lance Boyer and April Downs of Circleville and step great granddaughter, Stephanie Kraus. Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Friday November 27, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor Lynn Summers officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
