George William “Bill” Tootle, 62 of Circleville, went to be with his Lord on Thursday March 1, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He was born July 31, 1949. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Seymour Tootle Duvall and Robert Eugene Tootle; precious beloved sister, Ellen “Jeannie” Tootle and brother, Richard Allen “Dickie” Tootle; stepmom, Mildred Tootle; brother-in-law, William “Skeeter” Boysel; nephew, Troy Tootle and great niece, Cynthia “Seeme” Hawk; grandparents, Forest and Geneva Seymour, Harold Tootle, Ellen and Chuck Wallace and many aunts, uncles and cousins. George “Bill” is survived by 2 brothers, Jim (Emma) Tootle of FL and Tom (Rosie) Tootle of Stoutsville; 1 sister, Beverly Boysel of Williamsport; 2 nephews, Tim (Toni) Tootle of Stoutsville and Brad (Heather) Boysel of Williamsport; 6 nieces, Renee (Alvin) Kennedy of Atlanta, Tami Tootle of FL, Kim (Todd) Hawk of Williamsport, Teri Dodson of AK, Jayelee Coyle of Williamsport and Danalee (Paul) Chestnut of Williamsport; 19 great nieces and nephews; 3 great great nephews; a host of friends and cousins and special friends, Randy Vanover, Kim Jones, Linda and Faith; 4 aunts, Helen, Joyce, Mary Ellen and LuLu Belle. George was proud to be a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and officer of Sons of Amvets, Moose Lodge and Eagles. He was thrilled when he could coach basketball and Special Olympics for the Developmental Disabilities program. He loved working at the Roadside Rest Area for over 20 years as a caretaker before he got very ill, he also enjoyed working at the Goodwill. George was a great singer and loved singing songs of all kinds and loved karaoke and was an avid bowler. He was a fan of wrestling and Nascar Racing. He was truly proud and loved going to Amvets conventions. He never met a stranger and would do anything to help anybody. Everyone who met up with him became his friend and they all loved him dearly and he loved them. He was a very caring person. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday March 6, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor Ty Myers officiating. Burial will be in Browns Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Pickaway County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 200 East High St., Circleville, OH 43113.
