George E. Wickline, 80, of Circleville went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 19, 1928 in Fayette Co. the son of Watson and Mae (Fout) Wickline. George was an accountant and owner of Sedalia Food Center in Columbus. He was a member of Community U.M.C. and Masonic Lodge in Jackson. George was an avid gardener and really enjoyed OSU football. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother William. He is survived by his wife Mary (Yerian) Wickline; daughter Donna (Ed) Kottenstette of Circleville; granddaughters Lori Kottenstette of Circleville and Lisa (Chris) Zwayer of TX; great-grandson Carter Zwayer; brothers Wayne (Sandra) of S. Charleston, Dale (Nancy) of Jackson and Watson Jr. of Chillicothe; special cousin Margaret Clark of Columbus and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 28, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Barry Burns officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice, Community U.M.C. or OSU James Cancer Hospital.
