Georgia Mae Bobbitt, 86, of Circleville, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on November 3, 2024.  She was born June 1, 1938 to the late Ale Thompson and Alice Hutchinson.  In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her first husband Ralph Tigner, and her sisters; Martha, Mary and her brother Gene, father-in-law Bobbie Bobbitt.  She is survived by her husband Daniel Bobbitt of Circleville, daughters; Ellen Tigner (Tom Hayes) of Jacksonville, FL, Janie Pontious (Mark Bravard) Brunswick, GA, Kyann (Bryan) Brown of Circleville, and Amber Kanniard of Circleville.  Sister Shirley Anderson of Ashville, mother-in-law Shirley Bobbitt, brothers-in-law Anthony (Lori) Bobbitt, Rick (Dorothy) Bobbitt and sister-in-law Cheryl (Darrell) McCoy.  Grandchildren: Gwen (Ken Schroer) Tigner, Natasha (Travis) Zerger, Jeff (Ashley) Swisher Jr., Jacquelyn (Jansen) Gillaspy, Landyn Morgan, Noah Kanniard, Kyleigh Caves, Wyatt Brown, Blake Kanniard, and Weston Brown. Great grandchildren; Savannah, Trevor, Lena Mae, Bradyen, Gracie and Adelynn. Numerous nieces and nephews and many special family and friends.  She worked at RCA until the plant closed.  When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending her time cooking, cleaning her house and watching the OSU Buckeyes play football.  She loved volunteering at the Moose Lodge and Ohio Special Olympics.  The family would like to thank the staff of Pickaway Manor and Heartland Hospice for all the attention, friendship and care given to Georgia.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers, they would like all contributions to go to MooseHeart, 240 James J Davis Drive, Mooseheart, IL 60539 in her name.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial in Harrison Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
