Georgia Brokaw

Georgia M. Brokaw, 60, of Circleville, died Aug. 7, 2009 at home. She was born Jan. 30, 1949 in South Bloomingville, OH the daughter of Harry and Edna (Huffman) Dennis. Georgia was retired from the State of Ohio and a member of Community U. Meth. Church and Kingston OES 411. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Edith Martin and brothers-in-law, Guy Tatman, Wally Martin and Ed Daubenmire. Georgia is survived by her husband, Ronald; children, Toni Brokaw of Pickerington and Greg (Samm) Brokaw of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Cole and Addison; brother, Edgar “Gene” Dennis of Logan; sisters, Carol Tatman and Frieda (Bob) Willis of Circleville and Marilyn (Ed Hankison) Reichley and Nora Daubenmire of Logan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don (Jo) Brokaw, Kay Ebert, Gary (Ruth) Brokaw, Larry Brokaw, Mel (Linda) Brokaw, Sue (Sam) Garrett and Patty (Jim) Leach; several nieces and nephews and special nieces Jan Wood and Elaine Adkins. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009 at 10:00 am at the Community United Methodist Church in Circleville with Pastor Barry Burns officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Eastern Star service at 8:00. Burial will be in Green Summit Cemetery. Family requests memorial contributions to Berger Hospice or National Kidney Foundation.
