Gerald “JR” Noble, Jr, of Circleville was surrounded by his loving family at his residence when he entered into Heaven on June 7, 2024 following a two year battle with cancer.  He was born on August 2, 1944 in Leistville, the son of the late Gerald and Wanda (Jones) Noble.  On May 24, 1965, he was united in marriage with his loving wife, Josie (Hettinger) Noble, who survives.

In addition to his wife, JR is survived by his son, Rick (Lisa) Noble and granddaughter, Rachel Noble.

JR is also survived by his siblings, Karen (Darryl) Krahn of Stoutsville, Ralph Noble of Columbus, Sharold (Lynn) Noble of Pickerington, Sharon (Bill) Prentice of Pickerington, James (Annette) Noble of Minford, and Jerry (Pat) Noble of Laurelville as well as many nephews and nieces.

In addition to his parents, JR was preceded in death by his grandson, Jarod Noble, his brothers, Glenn Noble, Darrell Noble and Robert Noble and sister, Becky Monroe.

JR was especially proud of, and adored, his grandchildren.  Many hours were spent camping together, taking rides on the Gator, and attending the Fairfield County Antique Tractor Club tractor shows.

JR worked for a total of forty-nine years in the natural gas pipeline industry, with the  majority of those years being with Welded Construction Company, Perrysburg, Ohio.  In retirement JR enjoyed going to auctions with his friend Raymond Lowery; buying, selling, and working on antique Ford tractors; and visiting with friends in his shop, where they would talk about tractors, tell a few jokes, or just tell stories.  JR will be missed by many.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation for the National Church Residences Hospice program in Waverly, for the care and compassion extended by their entire team.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home in Circleville with Pastor Aaron Hines officiating.   Burial will follow in Reber Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday from 3-7 p.m.
