Gertrude P. Arledge, 83, of Circleville, died on Sunday, January 19, 2014. She was born February 15, 1930 in Franklin County, the daughter of Joseph and Edna (Haines). Trudy was a housewife and was retired from Georgia Pacific. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Glenn Arledge; sister Elise Ross; brothers, Bart, Joe, Lester and Charles Johnson; daughter-in-law, Judy Arledge; brothers-in-law, Robert Ross, Billy Vanover, Lloyd Smith, Jim, Bill, Don and Bob Arledge; sister-in-law Carolyn Vanover, Charlotte Mahoney, Evelyn Smith and Monabelle Arledge. Trudy is survived by daughter Dianna Clark of Circleville, and sons Rocky (Juanita), Chuck (Pam) and Glenn (Beth) Jr. Arledge, all of Circleville; grandchildren Michele Clark, Jeff, Dustin, Austin and Tony Arledge; great-grandchildren Katie, Sam and Tanner Arledge. Also survived by sisters Mary Beardsley of Marysville and Barb Becker of Columbus; brothers John and Bill Hewitt of Columbus; sister-in-law Marilyn Radabaugh of Laurelville, Ruby Arledge of Dayton and Linda (John Bailey) Arledge of Circleville; brothers-in-law Larry (Linda Arledge, Stan Arledge and Glenn Mahoney of Laurelville, and Boyd Arledge of Circleville; special niece and nephew Kay and Ron Seymour of Chillicothe and Charles Budd Ross, and special friend Rose Ann Thress. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00. Burial will be at Green Summit Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Circle Area Humane Society.
